Our Story

The Thrifty Armadillo is a family-run thrift store in Hubbard, Texas, built on Jennifer Talley’s love of finding something special where you least expect it. From little out-of-the-way garage sales to thrift stores near and far, she’s gathered a mix of vintage pieces, everyday essentials, and finds ready for a new home.

Jennifer fell in love with Hubbard’s hometown feel and made it her home. Our shop invites you to enjoy a little treasure hunting, whether you’re looking for something useful or something you didn’t know you needed.

At the heart of it all is the way we care for people. We want you to feel welcome, take your time, and enjoy the thrill of a good find.
